Ramsar Shipyard
- Currently operational Ramsar Shipyard is situated on Western Coast of India at Bhavnager in the state of Gujarat.
- It complies with ISO 9001:2008 Certification of the Indian Register of Quality Systems.
- It has a 220 meters waterfront.
- Presently, MIL builds vessels up to 110 mtrs in length and 20 meters in breadth with launching draft of 4.5 mtrs.
- The facility is equipped to build vessels up to 6000 DWT.
- This yard at Ramsar has been designed to facilitate the construction of eight vessels simultaneously.
- The Yard has a side launching facility
- Two Dry Docks for vessel building and repairs.
Dry Dock No. 1: 93m x 16m x 3.5m, Dry Dock No. 2: 110m x 20m x 4.5m - Other facilities include steel stock yard, surface treatment area, PVGL / Captive Power, Machine Shop, CNC Cutting Machines, a Bonded Warehouse and a General Warehouse.
